Meet the Designer

Hi, I’m Randie — founder and designer of Clay Bella Studio.

My journey as a jewelry designer began at the age of 11 while spending an extended period of time at Children's Hospital due to an autoimmune disease. During that time, I asked my father to bring me beads so I could make bracelets — a small creative escape that quickly grew into a lifelong passion for designing jewelry.

Today, that same love for craftsmanship continues through Clay Bella Studio. Each pair of handcrafted polymer clay earrings reflects creativity, resilience, and the joy of making something beautiful by hand.

After decades in the jewelry industry and years designing bridal jewelry through  Faye Daniel Designs, I felt called to explore a more sculptural, contemporary form of expression. Each capsule collection is handcrafted in my Bel Air, Maryland studio using premium polymer clay and carefully selected materials. From hand-mixed clay colors to layered textures, gold and silver accents, and sculpted silhouettes, every pair is intentionally designed and carefully finished to highlight texture, color and form.

The name Clay Bella carries personal meaning. “Bella” honors family roots, while the beauty of clay — inspired by artistry and artifacts throughout Italy — shaped the heart of this brand. It represents both heritage and creative freedom.
